Frequently asked questions
What is the difference between live rosin and live resin?
Live resin is extracted with a hydrocarbon solvent such as butane and then purged. Live rosin uses no solvent at all: fresh-frozen flower becomes ice-water hash, which is pressed with heat and pressure. Carbon only makes live rosin.
Are live rosin carts legal?
Carbon's live rosin is THCa from hemp and is made to comply with the 2018 Farm Bill. Some states restrict THCa products; the current list is on each product page. You must be 21 or older to purchase.
What voltage should I use?
Keep a 510 battery around 2.4–3.0V. Lower heat preserves the terpene flavor and prevents burnt hits.
Do live rosin carts get you high?
Yes. THCa converts to THC when heated, so vaping live rosin is psychoactive. Start with one small puff and wait 10–15 minutes.
